Tool-Flo Manufacturing, Inc., located in Houston,
Texas, USA; began operation in January 1978 and has grown into
a 33,000 square foot complex operating 3 shifts. Tool-Flo serves
the carbide threading and grooving market through out the United
States as well as the world market selling through industrial
distributors. Tool-Flo’s policy has always been to sell through
industrial distributors. This has enabled us to establish a large
solid base of over 600 distributors. Tool-Flo employs manufacturer’s
representatives to cover the United States and to service the
U.S. distributor network. The markets Tool-Flo serves include
automotive, aerospace, medical and oil industry products and basic
domestic manufacturers.
Since 1978 Tool-Flo has become a prime supplier
of carbide inserts for threading, grooving, turning, milling and
specials of various styles. Tool-Flo also maintains an engineering
department for the purpose of designing specials, and a metal
working division for producing tool-holders for standards and
specials. Tool-Flo has a complete PVD coating facility for producing
high quality PVD coatings. Strict controls are kept for quality
with the ability to qualify all coatings.
Tool-Flo is the only fabricator in the Western
Hemisphere and possibly the world that has a complete set of catalogs
and a published price list for a broad line of standard industry
products. This allows the sales of these products in an organized
manner through industrial distributors.
Tool-Flo continues to be a major supplier
to the oil and gas drilling and production industry and provides
a major portion of the premium threading tools used in this industry.
Tool-Flo has branched out into the international
market including Mexico, Brazil, Venezuela, India, United Kingdom,
Singapore and Australia. In addition, Tool-Flo sells through exporters
to different parts of the globe including Africa and the Middle
East.
